Your Sunday Bread: Know the Truth About It and Stun the World with Your Wisdom

discerment_true_falseI felt like that people who suffer in their mind, and that some are so severely vexed they cannot determine night from day and  are taken over by evil spirits.

In fact, when my husband’s mother was sick was the first time I had experience seeing a mental collapse in a person, or rather seeing to such a degree that I saw for the first time in that home she was placed in individuals whose minds had been taken over.

One woman in a wheel chair was having fits to such a degree that she was tormented and twisted. Hence, this place was filled with demonic spirits and I said that within myself as I sat there beside my mother in law, and then a while later as my husband and I were leaving that same woman which was sorely vexed stopped screaming and turned her head  to follow us with her stare. I was looking back and noticed as the demon took over once again as she went back to that tormented place in her mind. Screaming in agony and body twitching.

I thought to myself that I should go back and pray, but did not because I was scared hearing so many stories, especially about demonic forces. However, there are still many forces to be reckoned with in everyday life because when people cannot think straight it shows. Therefore, it shows in the jails, in the hospital rooms, it shows in the sanatoriums, and it shows in us when we cannot believe truth, that is, that Yah can do the impossible.

About the following  video,  “Sign and Wonders| Glenda Jackson?” there have been many instances where so called miracles have been performed through deceiving spirits taking unsuspecting and desperate souls unawares.benny-hinn  It is the case that just because someone says they are prophetic doesn’t mean prophecy in the sense of biblical standards but in divination, which is fortune telling or a soothsayer, and the scriptures speak of how Paul was on his way to the temple and was accosted by such. The lesson in this is when to determine what is fake and what is of Yah.

In essence, do not put your money up when you can receive your healing free through your belief in the true Name of the Most High [See: Signs and Lying Wonders: Will You Be Deceived?].

 Read:

”And it came to be, as we went to prayer, that a certain slave girl possessed with a spirit of Puthon, did meet us, who brought her masters much profit by foretelling. Having followed Sha’ul and us, she cried out, saying, “These men are the servants of the Most High Elohim, who proclaim to us the way of deliverance.” And she was doing this for many days. But Sha’ul, greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit, “I command you in the Name of יהושע Messiah to come out of her.” And it came out that same hour. But when her masters saw that their anticipation of money-making was gone, they seized Sha’ul and Sila and dragged them into the market-place to the rulers. And having brought them to the captains, they said, “These men, being Yehuḏim, greatly disturb our city, and they proclaim practices which are not right for us to receive nor to do, being Romans.” And the crowd rose up together against them. And the captains tore off their garments and commanded them to be beaten with rods. And having laid many blows upon them, they threw them into prison, commanding the jailer to keep them safely, who, having received such a command, put them into the inner prison and fastened their feet in the stocks.” (Acts 16:16-28).

We should beware of the deception because the people are being robbed instead of healed. It is not the case that no people are healed, but that some people come in a name that is deceptive. Do you know the difference? As we see with the set apart ones coming in the Right name to cast out demons can cause some problems for the money makers.

Do you know the law concerning your rights as an employee pertaining  to accommodation and religious or spiritual beliefs?

The Equal Employment
Opportunity Commission (EEOC), enforces the law on your behalf.

The Civil Service Reform Act of 1978 (CSRA), and Section 1981 of the Civil Rights Act of 1866.

For the sake of equal rights, your religious freedom and belief thereof are first priority with the employer as soon as you:

1) voice your belief, and

2) put that belief in writing.

A definitive view of a belief about religion says, “a religious creed or faith”. (i.e., Hebrew, Christian, Muslim).

The EEOC gives this view as well about religious accommodation saying, “Religious Discrimination & Reasonable Accommodation. The law requires an employer or other covered entity to reasonably accommodate an employee’s religious beliefs or practices, unless doing so would cause more than a minimal burden on the operations of the employer’s business. This means an employer may be required to make reasonable adjustments to the work environment that will allow an employee to practice his or her religion.Examples of some common religious accommodations include flexible scheduling, voluntary shift substitutions or swaps, job reassignments, and modifications to workplace policies or practices.”

Of course, one must consider their motive and the fact that many employers already provide accommodation for those of the Christian belief, allowing those to go to work after the service.

Your Sunday Bread: Narrow is the Gate, Straight is the Way

narrowgate

How many of us really have a firm grasp of truth? We think we do but we don’t, even the greatest scholars and theologians missed this word, why because it has nothing to do with what we think and see but what Yah reveals…when the word says enter the narrow gate, that there are few who find it; it is because few can see it there…why? First of all we have to find it, the narrow gate cannot be found without revelation, because if it were that easy everyone would be there. Secondly,   because of all the “stuff” blocking “The Way.”

Society has conditioned us to believe that if everybody is doing it then it must be ok even in the church. In contrast, society has sold us many things like drugs, alcohol, and sex through movies, and other means and then offers us rehabilitation to recover from them, even in the church a so called rehabilitation center both are worldly. Everybody does those things and they are going the wrong way.

However, this picture is bigger than drugs, alcohol and sex .

It’s what we see, similar to following the highway and having to pay attentions to signs and while driving you and a friend are into a deep conversation and while the exit to the narrow gate looms just ahead, somehow we don’t see because we have gotten off into this deep conversation about something else.

Let’s talk about the broad gate…our friends are there, church members, family and a host of others going down the same road…how do we know those people are there on the same path…well, if we go to the same church most likely we are hanging around with people who are like us…we listen to the word from a preacher, go to church on Sunday and probably eat at each other’s houses. Those in the same income bracket hang with those in the same. While the poorer are friends with their friends that probably aren’t good for them but because those people in the church are nonsocial able this is what happens, the members sleep with other members married are not, the deacons are stealing…all types of stuff is available on the broad road…the preachers are carted off to jail….everybody’s doing it, the narrow gate…happens when you start to wonder and ask God does he really want you living like that…this is church Yah we say, what is the problem?

Furthermore, why would the Yahshua have this conversation with believers in the first place if they were following “The Way?” Remember he said “Ye are the salt of the earth but if the salt loses its flavor it is good for nothing?” So, what happened then that Yahshua, had to say this if they were on the narrow path? Some weren’t you see, and he had to warn them that there are wolves in sheep’s clothing come to steal them.

The Way to the narrow path is not Christianity and here is why, we must broaden our thinking past the small individual happenings in our own lives.  The whole world believes the faith of Christianity. Notably, there are people being converted to believe in the name of Jesus  more than any other religion on the planet. Somebody says that is proof that we are on the right path…well, no it’s not. It says much about persuasion and the need for people to fit in and be like everyone else. There are people sitting in church from Sunday to Sunday who are not saved. How do we know…look at the rate of deliverance and the behavior in the church. People look, think, and act just like the unsaved.

Look at this:

According to the article, “Christianity Today – General Statistics and Facts of Christianity.” Mary Fairchild states, “Christianity is ranked the largest religion in the world today. According to the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life, in 2010 there were 2.18 billion Christians around the world, nearly a third of the global population.”  Conversely, when we look at scripture the narrow gate doesn’t seem likely to be found by the masses of the population. When we look at the term “find it” we note that this is something that isn’t so easily accepted.

The Pew Forum on Public Religion & Public Life gives this estimate:

“More than one-quarter of American adults (28%) have left the faith in which they were raised in favor of another religion – or no religion at all. If change in affiliation from one type of Protestantism to another is included, 44% of adults have either switched religious affiliation, moved from being unaffiliated with any religion to being affiliated with a particular faith, or dropped any connection to a specific religious tradition altogether.”

In a way this one would seem that there is something that Christianity is lacking being that the practice of it is so much like the world. It is problematic when people cannot see a difference why would they stay?

Fairchild gives a breakdown of those who practice Christianity worldwide, the Top 3 Largest National Christian Populations:

  • US – 246,780,000 (79.5% of the Population)
  • Brazil – 175,770,000 (90.2% of the Population)
  • Mexico – 107,780,000 (95% of the Population):

Conversely, if the thinking is to find the narrow gate; the question becomes whether the masses hold the key to finding it. Isn’t this more like the broad road; rather than the narrow gate leading to life?

Let’s look at the text,

Luke 17:

11 And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.

12 And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:

13 And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.

14 And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.

15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,

16 And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.

17 And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?

18 There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.

19 And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.

One came back to give Yah praise, and that one was not associate with Christianity. Notably, he was one those in Christianity would consider least likely. What happened to the others? They went on their way to follow the masses. Narrow is the gate those who praise Yah in spirit and truth will find the narrow gate.

According to Pew,  “The survey finds that the number of people who say they are unaffiliated with any particular faith today (16.1%) is more than double the number who say they were not affiliated with any particular religion as children. Among Americans ages 18-29, one-in-four say they are not currently affiliated with any particular religion.”

Note:  No religion doesn’t equal no belief or faith.

People are evoking their right to choose; even in Religion. Considering our finding, the narrow gate isn’t found in the Masses. People are finding the narrow gate their own way with revelation for the Most High. There is hope.

Your Sunday Bread: No Longer Motherless

psalm 27If my friends forsake me, Yea, even my ma and pa forsake me yet will I praise you Yahuwah! (Psalm 27:10) (Emphasis my own).
Sometimes I feel like a motherless child, in fact, in the natural realm I am without my mother and father. However, in spiritual realm where Yah is I am neither without mother or father. His nature fulfills both roles . We need to grasp these, that is, if Yah has made me female and has fashioned me after his own image then I am not without nurture or guidance. In fact, I am back where I started in beginning when I was with him. So we can see that if the word is truth, then Yah says, “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” (Jeremiah 1:4-7).
It gets serious when our mothers and fathers forsake us. This is the point that it can get that bad sometimes. No one wants to even think about their mother or father leaving them but as life has it, some have either by death or some other mission of the devil. It’s sink or swim.Amen, Because even though we might walk alone these days we are not forsaken. We can receive wise counsel from the One who made us and knew us before our earthly parents even laid eyes on us. How great is that? Forever I will praise you Yahuwah!Today, let not the righteous of Yah feel forsaken, for you are not.

Your Sunday Bread: Yahweh or the Devil?

God or the devil“Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savor, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” (Matthew 5:11-15).

These days, it will take a lot more to convince me of someone’s character than them saying “I’m a Christian,” because that ain’t saying nothing if all I see is or hear are lies and conniving schemes against the brethren. I mean it, I have had enough of people saying “God says this and that” but still are doing whatever they want, have tossed out the commandments and do everything opposite of what Yahweh says not to do.

Don’t tell me Ladies and Gentlemen that someone sings in the choir, preaches and teaches, a deacon, and yet can’t keep his hands and eyes off those who aren’t theirs. Please don’t tell me that because it is a lie from the pits of hell.

Don’t come to me saying the Lord says this for me, and you are talking about me behind my back. Can Yahweh speak, would Yahweh speak to someone who cannot honour his Sabbath and keep it holy? I don’t think it is Yahweh, but “Your father the devil.”

I am gonna set my face like flint…this is for those stiff necked to whom the truth comes….those who when I bring the word want to snarl, nash their teeth. That means that you can talk, but I am called to bring truth….run and hide or take heed.

Your Sunday Bread, Life is not a Deck of Cards

What’s this you say about the “cards” you are dealt concerning your life? Is it really the case that out of all people you considered your life a “bad” hand. Are you living life on the premise of luck; or putting yourself on the highway of chance? It is no wonder then that things don’t fare well? We must get our identity in Christ not luck, not chance.

Ye are members of a Royal Priesthood, made in the image of the Most High…who spoke you and the world into existence…how is it then that you of all people he created have considered being dealt a bad hand. Everything Yah has made is good.

Your Sunday Bread, Addressing the Pulpit

Addressing members of the clergy’s behavior is a difficult situation. No one wants to see their pastor, the leader of their church caught in scandal, because not only does it bring the church a bad name, its members are looked upon harshly, and worst of all the word of God.

In all of this one might wonder what has become of this thing; or amazed at how this all came about.  Our church was popular someone might think, but within these perils of thought one must also consider whether their church has become popular for the wrong reasons.

Before we go on with this subject, we must note that people are quite hush hush about what goes on with the men of God; those who lead the flocks, and when the preacher is seen doing things contrary to the word of God, where sin is present no one wants to be the one to confront it. Most people are fearful of the man of God and most will use the word to excuse their inability to speak out. Actually, it is cowardice in its greatest display.

The scripture taken from Psalms 105:15 Saying, “Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm”, and the same in 2 Chronicles 16:22.

Although we shouldn’t touch those anointed many people  are portrayed doing that in the bible and more so in deed than words. Here we note that the prophets were being killed because of speaking God’s word to those who were idol worshippers and other sins.

The Prophet Elijah was chased out of town by a death threat from Jezebel in 1 Kings 19:2-3,

“Then Jezebel sent a messenger unto Elijah, saying, “So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I make not thy life as the life of one of them by tomorrow about this time.  And when he saw that, he arose, and went for his life, and came to Beersheba, which belongeth to Judah, and left his servant there.”

Prophets were killed for spreading the word of truth in those days.

Today, however, the men of God are seen having affairs, molesting students under their care and counsel, raping; and even participating in homosexual acts against its members which are most certainly acts against the word of God.

Sin is running rampart in the pulpits, our leaders falling under the lies of Satan and no one is saying anything.

No one wants to talk about it; that is, to straighten the man out!  Sadder still is prayer being manifested as a last resort when those act already known by some in the church are made public. Hence, we see our preachers being drug off to jail, sent to prison and one notable example  is of a Pastor and Funeral Director who was murdered, hog tied and gagged; not for spreading the good news of Christ our Savior, but for deeds done against our Holy God and his church.

God says this:

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, the just shall live by faith.

 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth(Suppress it) in unrighteousness;

Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

And changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four footed beasts, and creeping things.

Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves:

Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

(Romans 1:16-18, 22-25) (Emphasis mine)

Pastor John Piper explained homosexuality as “worship of self” as a form of idolatry which in turn leads to men and women’s lust of same sex which is idolatry.

God gives explicit word for people who accept this in church and out as well. He says about the homosexual that he gave them up to this life style to do what they will, which in turn leads to more sin.

The observation here is that these things are occurring in the Roman Church who the author speaks to. Notably, people might believe that he is speaking to someone outside; this is what one would expect, but sadly we cannot tell the world from the church.

God says, “
And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.

 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, (Romans 1:27-30)

And covenant breakers; the church:

Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. (Romans 1:31-32).

The main concern is to judge what is right and stop turning a blind eye to sin. There is something wrong when people called by the name of God cannot open their mouths and speak truth no matter who it is.

Probably the most heinous crimes are not done by people unsaved, but by people who call themselves saved. Now everybody is shocked and taken aback because someone they idolized and worshipped instead of God has left them disappointed and dumbfounded. Why are we shocked when we don’t pray, when we don’t speak truth even to the ones who teach us.

We have to take the church back it has become a breeding ground of sin. God is not pleased and is bringing his wrath in judgment.

above all things pray without ceasing

Something Else the Government Can’t Fix, Welfare Reform Starts in the Mind

I want to scream, because of the anguish I feel inside right now for my people; not only in America, but in Africa as well. I often find myself wondering what life would have been like for me had not I been born in America; if my ancestors had not been kidnapped from their homes and villages. What; I think, would be my name?

I would undoubtedly be somebody totally different had I been born there; had slavery never taken place. However, this thought is wishful thinking. Dreams and visions of a forest life, far away from life in a nation which can sometimes be so callous towards their own.

Black people have had a rough time here and still do, but now some of it is our own fault; because we have become beggars in our right. Instead of  kings and queens we have become paupers, beggars and borrowers waiting a on a handout; it is time to move on from that, but some of us are too heavy to carry and too paralyzed to carry ourselves.

Can we continue to blame it on the white people? The answer might surprise those who feel as if they too carry a burden too hard. It is difficult to comprehend when you have not the experience of being there. I cannot remember a time in life that someone I know has not needed help at some point in life; however, it is the thought that although help might be needed, is it really the case that we stay there?

This post is more for my brothers and sisters who want out than for anyone else reading now. It is not the case that all do not need to break free, but that all are not ready yet. There are people, both men and women who are praying for a better way of life other than government issued benefits and those are the ones who need this encouragement.

I want to say that it is not the case that prayers have not been answered, but it is that prayers might have been hindered. I cannot say that help is not available; I cannot say that people don’t care, because they do. Maybe not in the way of taking people by the hand but by offering the programs in the first place, and we must understand that no one is going to do any more than they have already put it out there. It is up to us to go get it.

More than going to get it, because some have gotten and continue to get and are in the same frame of mind as at the start; so, what is the problem?

The problem is that:

1) Someone doesn’t know any better, because their parents lived this way, and so do they; hence there is no exposure to something new.

2) Someone sees this thing as a way to get what they can get “free,” doesn’t matter what it is they want it, and will put in a day’s work to get those things which are free. This includes long lines, the drudgery of monthly forms, people prying into your personal life asking very personal questions about everyone in the house. It is not the case that this person will not lie to get that thing free.

3) Someone is lazy, don’t want anything.

4) Someone wants out, has the exposure, but its taking time so they still receive the help. They are educating themselves and taking advantage of every means available to them to move to another level in their mind and circumstance.

5) Someone works but doesn’t make enough money still, but even here there is a tendency not to reach for better.

Notably, #1, 4, can be helped if they reach out, but sadly, when someone hasn’t gotten up to go seek someone will not find it. In the case of all the above examples the government; along with the benefits offers help for school and daycare, jobs, now phones, but if there is no seeking, no asking then there is no help. In reality it requires an awakening. The fourth individual is at the place in their mind where they take “advantage” of the programs offered with the mind of self-empowerment. It’s all in the mind.

I was on a class field trip once and on the van I was riding with a bunch of guys; not only guys but young white guys, a Hawaiian, and my professor who my age. There were other women, but somehow I was the only female with all these men. At 48 years old, here I was, as old as my instructor and on bus full of kids just out of high school; or not far from it.

Somehow the conversation went to the discussion of women on welfare. I know now that it was the place I needed to be, because I had no clue to what people really thought about the women who receive help. Mind you this was no short trip so what I heard I could not run from it; nor could I turn it off. I was forced to sit there and listen to their version of how  Women on Welfare give me the blues.

The Hawaiian guy was very passionate about his lack of desire to put money in the pot for women who don’t choose carefully their children’s fathers. What he said was an eye opener for me because he felt that these women sleep with bums, losers who have no intention of doing anything; except use the women. Moreover, he asks, why does he have to continue to pay for children who are not his? He goes on to say that it; literally pisses him off when he gets his check and he doesn’t have enough money to buy groceries and he sees women loading their baskets with junk, or the baby daddy, boyfriends putting food in and when they get to the register out comes the old EBT card. Conversely, he stated, that he has to suffer when he is sick because there is little money for doctor’s visits and then he has to pay for children; again, not his.

“It’s not fair,” he added,” that me and my wife have no children but have to pay out for someone else’s”.

Wow! I sat there and could barely breath, what could I say to that; isn’t he right? That some of us, Ladies, just keep having baby after baby without a thought of how we will take care of them. Or with the thought that this is more money on my check? I nearly cried when I heard it from someone else.

Now, the intention of this note is not to bash, but to bring awareness of how this thing looks to some people.

Are you really trying to help yourself out of poverty; or, laying down day after day with no way to feed yourself, no plan of action. If you’re not there yet, haven’t even thought about your life; please consider what this means for you. Ask yourself: What if tomorrow or even a year from now they stop all this; what will I do? This should be a consideration the next time a letter comes from the food stamp office or the welfare office sends you a letter to go to find work, or attend a class. Go to school; learn so that your kids can at least know that they can do better. If you don’t know how to read, learn now.

If you just can’t do better that’s one thing, but if you are manipulating, and lying; nobody will suffer more in the end than you. It’s not too late get up! You can do it!

I hope this has helped someone; at least I am encouraged. I want those who feel bad about what’s being said on the news and who watched that video with the woman excited about the free phone to know that you are more valuable than “250 minutes a month”. At least I think so.

Take courage.
