Your Sunday Bread: Altar Prayer or Idol Prayer?

1376646_881719698507328_719261010624059108_nIf we deliberately continue sinning after we have received knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice that will cover these sins. (Hebrews 10:26).

So here are indications that the place you worship is into idol worship.

2Co 3:14  But their minds were hardened, for to this day, when the old covenant is being read, that same veil remains, not lifted, because in Messiah it is taken away.

Many people today like to watch shows that solve crimes, and some of the more popular show like CSI, The Closer, The First 48 [reality] show us some things that can occur in the way of gathering evidence and investigation, interviewing witnesses and the like.

For example, let us say that a crime is committed. The crime is idol worship and that the accused are unaware that idol worship still is apart of life today. In fact, many people who were guilty woke up to this heinous crime and as community service has it, now spend time daily getting the word out that the crime committed, that is, idolatry if they do not repent is punishable by death.

However, the people are not agreeable, and in fact, say all they do is go to church. However, you have evidence to the contrary that not only do these people go to church, but they pray at the alter of the idol, sacrifice their money to the idol and worse yet teach their children to do the same. Not only that, there is a designated meeting held each week, and subsequent days for the people to practice their dance, to meet with other people who worship the idol too, and together they all help build up the sacrifice on the designated day; including and not limited to ritualistic holidays.

In essence, there is more than enough evidence to try them to find them guilty as charged…adultery, graven images, bearing false witness [coming as angels of light], murdering the poor in spirit (Matthew 5) or rather people oblivious to their plight. Book sales, DVDs, CDs, all in the name of the idol.

Today: Ask, why is there a need for an alter of prayer when the sacrifice was taken away. The veil is no longer there and people can go to the father without the need of a priest, representative?

Revelations 21:7-8, ““The one who overcomes shall inherit all this, and I shall be his Elohim and he shall be My son. “But as for the cowardly, and untrustworthy, and abominable, and murderers, and those who whore, and drug sorcerers, and idolaters, and all the false, their part is in the lake which burns with fire and sulphur, which is the second death.”

Your Sunday Bread: Your Deliverance Has a New Look

103805176_640The Way is Hard Pressed [leading to life], and, not many there are that find it (Matthew 7:14).

Deliverance has a new look.

Let’s talk today about how difficult it might be for us to keep our bearing. Scripture speaks of the Way in terms of struggle and pain during the walk. Hence, there is misconception brought about by those who deliver these messages of prosperities which has deceived us to the point that we do not look any place to find Yah, except in our wallets.

Then we should ask then what if our wallets are empty? Or what if our houses are substandard? What if we don’t own a car, or the car is in disrepair? What then are we to do with ourselves if the Way is prosperity which everyone seeks, then, where does that leave many of us who love the Most High?

Think again and consider what that means.

If people continue to take in the lie, then we begin to see this is the very reason why trust has been lost. Many people have lost trust in the Most High,  because no matter how they try there is still trouble, hopelessness, and struggle. Hence, what we need to do is look elsewhere, because the Way is hard pressed and not easy as in prosperity teaches.

See:

“Enter in through the narrow gate! Because the gate is wide – and the way is broad – that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter in through it. “Because the gate is narrow and the way is hard pressed [or the way is afflicted] which leads to life, and there are few who find it” (Matthew 7:13-14).

Today: Press through the lies and hypocrisy of erroneous teaching and know that your answer is in the search of Truth in the Most High who says He will be found when we search with our whole [entire] heart. What that means is that He is not in our wallets as is the thing in the broad road to destruction.

Your Sunday Bread: Is Rah El?

1John2-15-16I was sitting here and the thought occurred that people take their sin lightly believing its not hurting anyone. Of course, it [the sin that so easily beset] feels good, otherwise, no one would participate would they?

In the Hebrew text there is only one word which describes that force opposite of good, or right and that is ‘rah’ which means something so disgustingly unpleasant that when in its presence one is face to face with a very distressful or injurious situation. According to the Hebrew definition this premise of ‘rah’ goes beyond what is reasonable [to imagine], or rather, what is predictable. In fact, in the Hebrew the term is such that there is evidence of malignancy there. Go see for yourself, that is, rah: Strongs G7451; and or, root ‘ra’ah’ H7489. Here we want to speak about the translation and the tendency that some of the power is lost when the word ‘rah’ becomes evil vs wicked. Let’s talk about this.

Accordingly, scripture tells us that the temptations appeal to our innermost senses, that is, (a) lust of the flesh, (b) lust of the eyes, and (c) the pride of life which all create in us ‘beastly’ personalities if not balanced with life in righteousness, or rather being led by Yah’s Spirit (Galatians 5:16). Then know that one is ‘rah’ if there is not the Ruach in us to help us through these temptations.

So then we note this term rah sheds light on our behavior, and one should ask why would Yahuah call us “filthy rags” if this were not so? In fact, one should question why the covenant was necessary in the first place, however, we have not questioned this and have set about to accept man’s terms over the Most High’s.

“Because all that is in the world – the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life – is not of the Father but is of the world.” (1 John 2:16). This is the new testament which some people claim gives premise to disobey. No, we have not called our idolatrous acts disobedience, however, this thing is so critical that people even upon seeing truth claim that the law is abolished. Have not people eyes to ear and see truth? Obviously not! Here is what happen when ‘rah’ became evil:

morally wrong or bad; immoral; wicked

This definition is not explanatory since it doesn’t challenge one’s moral compass. What is it then which makes a person immoral according to the Most High? And if we never visit Torah how would we know it?Read: The first books [Torah], but Exodus 20 is a good guide.

Wicked:

morally bad
: having or showing slightly bad thoughts in a way that is funny or not serious
: very bad or unpleasant

Since we know that we love and like our sin then how can we identify with these definitions without explanation? For your hearing:”Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.” (1 John 2:15). In essence, one should ask Is ‘Rah’ El?

Your Sunday Bread: The Most High Comforts Where it Hurts

65954_896879876991310_6976952092739595466_nI had no idea Lady GaGa was so pretty. She is a beautiful woman and speaking of her rape at 19 years old, and a subsequent video about the event she says, “I was messed up!” Notably, the star says that she was not so messed up when the event took place, but decidedly pronounces that years later did notice her plight. She spoke about not telling anyone, and even a time when she saw her attacker in the store where she shopped she says though afraid she never told. In essence, it is that way until we own up to the truth, that is it happened and learn to deal with the pain.

In saying that we learn to tell with the pain, Lady GaGa doesn’t see herself as messed up but her outer appearance is a matter of deviance to cover up something and says something altogether different.

In essence some of us are all covering something, that is, hurtfulness never dealt with. Hence, we do outlandish things to draw attention away…lest any one know our secret. No matter, Yah knows our hurt and he cares.

Today: Cast it away!

For your hearing:
Cast your burden on יהוה, And let Him sustain you; He never allows the righteous to be shaken. For You, O Elohim, do bring them down To the pit of destruction; Men of blood and deceit do not reach half their days; But I, I trust in You. (Psalms 55:22,23).

Your Sunday Bread: There is No More Sacrifice

james4-13-1680x1050Heb 10:26 For if we sin purposely after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a slaughter offering for sins

David knew he must go to the Most High with his sin, because as he described his bones waxed old. When someone uses this term waxed old it means that he was weighted down and worn out. Hence, this is the feeling one gets when a burdenous guilt is about us.

How is it then if we are feeling downcast in our spirit, bowed over and overflowing with ‘our’ sin that we think we can lay our hands on someone else without confessing that?

Some of you experienced that today at the alter. Tsk, Tsk. Shameful that we take the Most High for a fool.

David said, “Because I kept silence, my bones waxed old, from my crying all the day. For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: [Therefore] I became thoroughly miserable while a thorn was fastened in me. [Therefore] I acknowledged my sin, and hid not mine iniquity: I said, I will confess mine iniquity to the Lord against myself; and thou forgavest the ungodliness of my heart. (Psalm 32:2-8). [Emphasis Added].

And further he adds, “Therefore shall every holy one pray to thee in a fit time: only in the deluge of many waters they shall not come nigh to him. (v.6).

Ask: what is a fit time? In the translation the phrase is in a time when he may be found, however what is a fit time?

When something fits it is appropriate, that is, if I am bound by sin then the appropriation would be to come to the Most High ready to admit my guilt, not coming as if I haven’t did nothing. This thing is a suitable, appropriate time even David knew that and he was living according to Torah when there was still a sacrifice. Can anyone hear that?. Then how is it that someone is thinking with their soiled mind that we can do any old thing and then come to the Most High to pray without confession….literally unclean–its impossible.

There is no more sacrifice we must confess it.

This is a great truth.

AN AHA MOMENT

light-bulb-moment1stHere is why we should pay close attention to these terms. In an earlier post the lesson brought that we should not fight with temptation but expose it. Hence, to do that we are going to do a dissection.

Here is the scripture Matthew 4:1 which reads:
Then יהושע was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tried by the devil.

We want to concentrate on the devil here, not that Yahusha was tempted, because we know that he is victorious. However, the fact that we are not is a force to reckon.

Remember I said that we need to learn to use Satan’s name. I know we don’t like to say it I agree, because I am having a hard time writing it, but we cannot resist the opponent with our eyes closed. So wake up!

Satan, is a noun [masculine] according to Hebrew translation means an adversary, or the adversary and the one who opposes himself to another.

In the general sense, Satan also is a personal entity or a national one which makes sense since the scripture says he roams to and fro. The adversary makes war (1 Kings 5:18; 11:14,23, 25) and he is an enemy in the court of justice (Psalms 109:6), and also opposes himself to another (2 Samuel 19:23; Numbers 22:22), and it says, “the angel of Yahovah stood in the way to resist Him” [v. 32].

The devil, or rather, for this verse ‘the devil’ is not speaking of a person, place or thing as represented with a name but is speaking of the entity’s character, according to the Greek translation of diabolos [diabolical] which means the character of Satan is diabolical. The term is an adjective which means when we say ‘the devil’ we are describing something devilish, or rather, in this case according to the greek diabolical. Does that make sense?

Let’s see some more:

Satan is prone to slander , a slanderer
Satan is an a calumniator, false accuser,
Metaphorically, Satan, applied to a man who, by opposing the cause of God, may be said to act the part of the devil or to side with him

Satan is a diabolical liar, schemer, trickster, conster, manipulator and his behavior is devilish. However, how can we resist someone we cannot think to call by name?

Same thing:

Submit your will to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you.

Submit your will to Yah, resist Satan and he will flee you.

Your Sunday Bread: Fallen Sheep

This is good word to start the day. ImageImage

Many of us have received truth, especially receiving truth about Yah/Yahshuah’s name. There is not a secret….many of us are really concerning ourselves with what others are going to think about them should they make it known that they no longer believe; or rather, no longer see that Jesus is the way. Moreover, some are beginning to be challenged in their belief that Jesus is the name above all names by which one can be saved. Why? It is because Yah is revealing truth that truth has been taken away and other meanings added to, which he adamantly (in text) warns against.

Now then if the word says, “If you deny me before men,” does that mean Jesus, because a multitude/mass of people claim Jesus, Lord, God everywhere. All over the nation and abroad, Christianity being the largest religion in the world, and Catholicism being 2nd. There is not a instance of denial there.

This denial then has come after one has learned truth. “If you deny me before men, I will deny you before my Father in heaven.” Right!

Therefore, it must be that this is not the name…Because, again, no one denies the name of Jesus besides a few awaken.

Today: Rethink that thing, challenge this doctrine of Satanic thinking and say…reality checks game. Yahshuah is the only way. It cannot be denied. The narrow gate is not the way of Christian thinking.
