Your Sunday Bread: There’s a Stranger in the House!

374Ladies,

There’s a stranger in the house!

We cannot get anymore righteous than what the bible says which denotes that our thinking must change, and the way that it does is spiritually; otherwise, we would have been into this truth long ago. Yahuah is truth, his word never changes even when we thought we were living the right way.

This poses a question then–what to do with the people left behind? Suddenly since the light has shone on us then we can see clearly that the light is shining and does shine on every single person place and thing.

Light has come—this message is gonna tear you up, or fix you up and its gonna be a choice to stay or go.

“But know this, that in the last days hard times shall come. For men shall be lovers of [them] self, lovers of silver, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, thankless, wrongdoers, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self control, fierce, haters of good, betrayers, reckless, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of Elohim, having a form of reverence but denying its power. And from these turn away. For among them are those who creep in into the household and captivate silly women loaded down with sins [unconfessed], led away by various lusts always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of truth.” (2 Timothy 3:1-7).

First let me say that these women are not outside the church only they are in it. Yes, this passage is speaking of the so called spirtual woman, and I add Christian woman whose eyes have not been opened. We are a silly lot, before truth comes –always learning but never seeing truth of what we learn. I have been silly, and if my eyes had not opened I could not say this. Silly women, are the most gullible women and the bible toting men know it.

Just men in general understand silly women, but bible toting women see ourselves as spiritual, that is we dress the part, make up the part, preach the part and and have not the spirit of truth to distinguish ourselves.

Ok we fell for a charmer–god talking man who knows nothing of truth, but to look good, preach good, and beyond that just another man.

Tote that bible baby you look good to me when I am ASLEEP. WAKE UP LADIES!

We fall for the good job, hell some of us don’t expect much but a good lay down and all is well. I use to be that woman until —truth came and now I don’t care what a man has got if the most important is missing…where is Yahuah and where is truth?

If Yah is missing we get the above description lovers of self, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of Elohim. Love talk but love is not genuine.

I don’t know about you but that man is not worth it. You will not get this message until you wake up, or if you are woke take caution

Your Sunday Bread: The Most High Comforts Where it Hurts

65954_896879876991310_6976952092739595466_nI had no idea Lady GaGa was so pretty. She is a beautiful woman and speaking of her rape at 19 years old, and a subsequent video about the event she says, “I was messed up!” Notably, the star says that she was not so messed up when the event took place, but decidedly pronounces that years later did notice her plight. She spoke about not telling anyone, and even a time when she saw her attacker in the store where she shopped she says though afraid she never told. In essence, it is that way until we own up to the truth, that is it happened and learn to deal with the pain.

In saying that we learn to tell with the pain, Lady GaGa doesn’t see herself as messed up but her outer appearance is a matter of deviance to cover up something and says something altogether different.

In essence some of us are all covering something, that is, hurtfulness never dealt with. Hence, we do outlandish things to draw attention away…lest any one know our secret. No matter, Yah knows our hurt and he cares.

Today: Cast it away!

For your hearing:
Cast your burden on יהוה, And let Him sustain you; He never allows the righteous to be shaken. For You, O Elohim, do bring them down To the pit of destruction; Men of blood and deceit do not reach half their days; But I, I trust in You. (Psalms 55:22,23).

Your Sunday Bread: Rebellion in the Church

Today, there are churches popping up on every corner. As far as the eye can see and beyond there is a church house (literally houses) being converted to churches on every other block and every other corner? I wonder why, because what we also see today is people church hopping; going from one church to the next never able to find roots. Hop, Hop, Hop they go on and on and on, and for whatever reason they can never settle down. There are many answers given for these occurrences, and some make sense while others do not.

The big thing today is that some churches split, because someone doesn’t like this or that; or, someone feels that they can do a better job of the pastor ship than the current pastor.

This is what happened in heaven; Satan wanting to be like Elohim and convinced some others to side with him so they could take over heaven which started a war in heaven. (Revelations 12:7-10).

In times pass we could blame this behavior on the individuals, because we had churches with supposedly, sound doctrines, and so called seasoned pastors to lead us. Everything was stable, and if you were Baptist each week we could count on the following:

  1. Sunday School
  2. Morning Worship
  3. 3 o’clock service
  4. BTU at 6 p.m.
  5. 7:00 evening worship
  6. Wednesday night /Bible study prayer meeting (not sure cause I never quite got a good grasp of the word of God of how prayer helped, but people prayed).

We expected to be fed at church or either would grab a bite in between those times. I did not hear any griping, people just followed instructions and did what they were told, and things seemed to work. I really had some good times at church and I thank God today for my beginnings, because I was able to remember some of my earlier teachings which in turn brought me to a place of surrender in my mind later on.

Ironically, there are some churches that had those same ideals but are no longer in existence today, and others split because the members, for whatever reason rebel against the Shepard of the house and gather together other members to ban with them against authority, and, either are kicked out or leave to start other churches. (i.e., Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church/Greater Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church).

I was considering why people strike out on their own, and I wonder is it to fulfill the great commission, or that they are in an act of rebellion because some people do not like the way the church is running. Consequently,  are good reasons for some when we see leaders of the flock falling to sin, being caught in compromising positions and the members are leaving the churches. Also, the members are not working together where people are gossiping, and people are arguing over positions and people are acting (for all purposes) like people on the street while others who look on wonder what is going on?

In the article, “What is the cause of church splits? How can healing occurs after a church split?” the author conveys and ideal consequence, “Divisions that lead to church splits are a sad and all-too-common occurrence in the body of Christ. The effects of a church split, regardless of the cause, can be devastating. Church splits distress and dismay mature believers, disillusion new believers, cause havoc in the lives of pastors and their families, and bring reproach upon the name of Christ.”(Got Questions, 2012).

No one ever addresses these critical scenarios, because all we hear of these splits is there was an argument and depending on the people; either another church is started or those people move their membership to another establishment. Similarly, when speaking of people moving their membership to the new “church plant”…do they forget, are they ever counseled about the fight that led them to the new place?

We cannot continue to walk away from problems leaving unresolved issues in our wake, because “weeds” choke, and “seeds” planted come back to haunt.

The article states further, “Churches are like hospitals, full of wounded and sick people, but in the church the sickness is sin and the wounds are those we inflict upon ourselves and one another because of sin. One sin that causes multiple problems is a lack of forgiveness. No Christian is perfect, and no pastor or elder or deacon is perfect. When all these imperfect people get together, disagreements, hurt feelings and misunderstandings are inevitable. If our expectations of others are too high, disappointment is inevitable and can cause further feelings of hurt and resentment. Our response to one another should be to forgive one another in kindness and compassion (Ephesians 4:32; Colossians 3:13) and in Christian love, which covers a multitude of sins, followed by an increased commitment to serve one another (1 Peter 4:8-11). Once we are committed to forgiving, loving, and serving one another, we will see each other’s differences in a new light. But if we react to differences of opinion by taking sides and gossiping, the split will widen, more harm will be done to the church members, and our message to the world will be further compromised.” (Got Questions, 2012). This is the jest that we must always see our part in the situation and realize that everyone has their own opinions, but everyone must see the need of others more than themselves. There is too much mess in the churches of today residue from life’s woes and ills left unchecked.

Why do churches split? The article states, “A church split may happen when someone seeks to manipulate people and/or events for his own ends. It may be that there is pride in rule-keeping, and those who do not keep the same rules are ill-treated. It may be that a pet interpretation of doctrine is emphasized and used as a litmus test for belonging to the “in” group. Or, it could be that someone wants to wrest leadership from the pastor or elders and rallies a group of people around himself to accomplish a coup d’état. Sadly, difference of opinion regarding music and worship style is also a frequent cause of division in the church. The excuses for the conflict are numerous, but they all stem from the same root cause—pride and selfishness. James 4:1-3 says, “What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you? You want something but don’t get it. You kill and covet, but you cannot have what you want. You quarrel and fight. You do not have, because you do not ask God. When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.” (Got Questions, 2012).

Ultimately, the church has to get a clue; that is, the war in heaven (the spiritual) is being played out now (the natural) and the church is the stage. What is the world seeing when it comes to Kingdom business, because they can look at the soap operas on television; that is, Jane sleeping with Jake, and Alexis owning a new Benz. What else has the kingdom to offer, they wonder? Good question, are they seeing God or the devil there.

Your Sunday Bread, Lord Help My Unbelief

Awesome word. Yes since we know that God is real and made angels and that He will cast Satan out of the heavenlies, but for now he comes as angel of light to fool and trick us then to turn our lives upside down; it would serve as warning to become more aware of the demons among us.

So yes, amen there are demons and they reek havoc in the lives of believers, so imagine what they are doing to those with unbelief…better ask somebody, because the mental institutions are full of people who are under the attack of the enemy and we call them insane because we don’t believe; it’s not normal behavior to run from something or someone not there. But we know that these are spirits and it makes sense that we don’t see them; we can’t see the devil he is spirit. However, we do see him at work in other people.

So are the people who are able to see them really insane or running scared?

Concerning demonic thoughts, hearing voices,

Mark 9:14-29

‘And when they came to the [nine] disciples, they saw a great crowd around them and scribes questioning and disputing with them. And immediately all the crowd, when they saw Jesus [returning from the holy mount, His face and person yet glistening], they were greatly amazed and ran up to Him [and] greeted Him. And He asked them, About what are you questioning and discussing with them?

And one of the throng replied to Him, Teacher, I brought my son to You, for he has a dumb spirit.

And wherever it lays hold of him [so as to make him its own], it dashes him down and convulses him, and he foams [at the mouth] and grinds his teeth, and he [falls into a motionless stupor and] is wasting away. And I asked Your disciples to drive it out, and they were not able [to do it].

And He answered them, O unbelieving generation [without any faith]! How long shall I [have to do] with you? How long am I to bear with you? Bring him to Me.

So they brought [the boy] to Him, and when the spirit saw Him, at once it completely convulsed the boy, and he fell to the ground and kept rolling about, foaming [at the mouth].

And [Jesus] asked his father, How long has he had this? And he answered, From the time he was a little boy.

And it has often thrown him both into fire and into water, intending to kill him. But if You can do anything, do have pity on us and help us.

And Jesus said, [You say to Me], If You can do anything? [Why,] all things can be (are possible) to him who believes!

At once the father of the boy gave [an eager, piercing, inarticulate] cry with tears, and he said, Lord, I believe! [Constantly] help my weakness of faith!

But when Jesus noticed that a crowd [of people] came running together, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, You dumb and deaf spirit, I charge you to come out of him and never go into him again.

And after giving a [hoarse, clamoring, fear-stricken] shriek of anguish and convulsing him terribly, it came out; and the boy lay [pale and motionless] like a corpse, so that many of them said, He is dead.

But Jesus took [a strong grip of] his hand and began lifting him up, and he stood.

And when He had gone indoors, His disciples asked Him privately, Why could not we drive it out?

And He replied to them, This kind cannot be driven out by anything but prayer and fasting.

When we look at this text we can equate this to all bad behavior, because who said that talking to people who we cannot see there takes precedence over killing someone?

Powerful word, and I ask who can drive the demon out except the glory of our Elohim through fasting and prayer.

Your Sunday Bread, Woman of God Thank You for your Ministry

That’s how the people think when they are not “real friends,” or worst yet, haven’t had the opportunity to experience “real friendship.” Wanton people use people, however, friends are more than bed partners and friends are more than people we use to get by and hustle as a means to an end.

Some people actually care about other people and “actually” minister to others heart in word and deed.

I have been thinking of how I met Mae Boyd at my brother’s church during a morning bible study on Monday’s when Halie was a baby in a stroller, over 14 years ago, but my life was forever changed by knowing such an awesome woman of God.

I was really a broken person inside, and although at that time I was sober and attempting to learn the word I had not experienced the power of it. Ironically, no one could ever get me to go to bible study on Wednesday nites but when my cousin Linda asked me to come at that time I went. Even my brother was surprised and asked after a while how they got me to go.

It was an adventure and God ordained, because a woman prophesied to me of the greatness inside me that God was yet to release.

Ms. Mae was there and she was really friendly, but back then I was cautious of people and she was still friendly and acted as if she knew me. I had saw her around church but personally, I didn’t like some of those people; so, I didn’t want to get close to her.

But something happened,  I don’t know when it happened but I let her into my heart and let me tell you the earth shook, because she spoon feed me little by little through my addictions. Let me tell you that God sent plenty of messages through her to me, Once she told me that he said if I didn’t quit pretending I was going to jail; well I went. God wasn’t playing.

Praying with me, bible study on the phone every single day for 8 long years. She told me that she didn’t know when I was going to be delivered but she knew that God would do it. So much stuff to sift through and still she didn’t give up. I use to call her crying, screaming, drunk and she still prayed. Wow!

Some people can say that they helped someone but until we can say we stayed we haven’t done nothing.

It got to the point when I finally got a life and was walking and she would tell me “I’m so proud of you, I knew that God would use you!” Wow, such great faith that woman had in God for me.

As time went on I didn’t need her as much, but I still needed her advice and called to talk to her when she was sick. Her body had taken a toll after her stroke but she was so strong still through all that, and she still prayed for me and my family!

So someone says, this is why we might be sad when someone dies, the fact that we didn’t see them or tell them goodbye. No it’s because we have lost someone great…memories of how they helped us stand.

So today, my tears are more of joy in knowing a real saint of the Most High. I am really gonna miss her.

God bless you Mae, RIP! ♥ ♥ ♥

Your Sunday Bread, Spotted Sheep

Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me. These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. (John 16:32, 33).

I remember watching a movie once, where these kids were restless, selling drugs and chasing girls. Notably, that what a lot of the kids do around here even off the screen. However, this one boy named Cain (Tyrin Turner) had grandparents who worshiped God all while staying in the projects amid the occurrences that take place in the projects. Cain, although he seemed kind of rough; I think he just needed to be steered in the right direction. The grandparents were the type of people who around them one had to walk (or at least act like you’re walking) a narrow path. His friend, on the other hand, was a wild one, and one day he went to visit Cain at Grandma and Grandpa’s house. Grandpa was talking about the Lord, and the boys were sitting there looking at each other like when is this going end? Turner’s friend, actually was listening, because he said, “How can God love us when we live like this? Look at how we live?”

I think that this is most heartbreaking cry of the poor among the so called blacks, “How can God love us when we live like this?”

The above scripture tell of the tribulation we face and how our people have been scattered among nations, enslaved oppressed and gives reference to the vast tribulation we face as black people. I never understood it until now. How one race could face so much pain and yet still have so much faith in God. It is because despite all the difficulty we face that somehow if we didn’t have that faith, we are bound to give up. Even with stolen identities, even with not seeing ourselves in the word of God we have held strong, even when accepting the fact that a white God made us, we accepted that since he made us he would take care of us; and, then to find out that we are lied to…that the God we have so faithfully serve has, in fact, wrote the book for us.I come today to tell you who are receiving this word that God really does love you, beloved, even though you might not know his name. That is ultimate love, to love a people that don’t know Him. Hallelu Yah God!

And so I write you just in case you don’t understand the oppression, the affliction, that this is not about you but about Your Father, and your heritage. People are jealous because you are chosen. They would rather kill your life, trick you, ostracize you than to let you live.

I think about the word where Jacob wanted to marry a man’s daughter, and he and the girl’s father make agreement where he would work for him for a time and he and the girl could marry. However, when the time came for the girl to go, the father tricked him and gave the oldest girl instead, and when Jacob found out that he went to the man and he was told that it was their tradition that the eldest daughter marry first and that if he would work another few years then he would give him a flock to take as well. To a man who didn’t have much this would seem a great deal and so despite the trick he worked…because he loved the girl. There was this thing with the spotted sheep increasing and the girl’s father claimed those, and then the plain ones would increase then he wanted those.  (Genesis 29).

In my mind I can see that Yah has blessed us with increase despite manipulation and heartache in this land that is foreign to us. People can deny our right to have what belongs to us, but Yah still provides increase when we trust in him. People can trick us but they can’t steal Yah’s love for us.

Hear this that Yah has not forgotten us. He loves us more than and will do more than we can ever imagine. Now unto him who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that you can ever ask, think or even imagine. (Ephesians 3:20). Be encouraged and wait on Yah and in due season you will reap if you faint not.

Peace and blessings to ya!

China Dishes

When I was a young girl Christmas was always a magical time. The colorful tree with it’s ornaments and bright lights was always a source of awe and excitement! We had some great Christmas holidays, and Mama would be sure to ask us what we wanted to receive. When we were older we had the opportunity to write our lists so that Santa could bring us our hearts desires, one Christmas I asked Santa for China dishes.

As I picked up the last of my gifts, I noticed that it was heavy, more weightier than all the others. I unwrapped it with the anticipation that I would receive what I expected there. Holding my breath I tore the layers frantically, and then I saw them, in all their pink and white essence; the most magnificent china dishes that I had ever saw and they belonged to me. I was so happy!

There was a price that came with my new china dishes, a warning attached to them, issued to me by my mother as she said, “Don’t break them!

My response was, “I’m not!”
